AYNE is a deep tech company founded by a group of scientists aiming to develop innovative solutions for e-commerce. The company is based in Singapore and it is a spin-off from A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research, where the founders met, got to know each other, and initiated their startup company. Our vision is to have mass-customized clothes at the price of mass-produced ones, and our mission is to develop AI technologies for e-commerce and smart manufacturing. AYNE was incorporated in 2016 and it secured SPRING TECS Proof-of-Value grant of $500K in August 2016.

We filed a PCT patent in 2016 to protect the company's core IP and invention on garment digitization and try-on system and method.

The first mobile prototype for the company's clothes try-on product was completed in May 2017. After that, we worked with four trial partners (three in Singapore and one in China) to test the product and get their feed backs. Four iOS apps were developed and released in APPLE App Store (one for each brand) for this trial partnership. Each trial partner provided very useful feed backs on how to improve the product for the next step.

In 2017 we received SiTF's Silver Award for Best Innovative Product for Immersive Media for its product iTRY: a fitting room in your hand. In December 2017, AYNE signed an agreement with VIPshop to be the exclusive AR solution provider on clothes try-on for VIPshop's e-commerce platform.

The first prototype demo on human body measurement was completed in January 2018 and was shown during a tech exhibition in Guangzhou to VIPShop top managers and local Chinese governments.
