The High Commission of Sri Lanka serves as the primary point of contact for the promotion of Sri Lanka’s interests in Singapore. In line with the Government’s economic strategy, priority has been given for the promotion of bilateral trade, attracting Foreign Direct Investment and the promotion of Sri Lanka as a preferred Tourism and MICE destination under the Economic Diplomacy programme of the Mission.
The High Commission will play a pivotal role in strengthening economic and commercial engagements between the Government of Sri Lanka and the Government of Singapore. In this context, the Mission assists companies in Sri Lanka as well as in Singapore to develop collaborative ties by identifying potential business partners, suppliers, organizing outbound/inbound Trade Missions, conducting awareness programmes, and participating at Trade Fairs and Forum in order to find new market opportunities and consolidate existing market potential.
