Nam Lee Pressed Metal Industries Limited was incorporated on 10 March 1975 by the Yong family, which has been in the metal products fabrication business since the 1950s. The family business which started as a sole proprietorship fabricating galvanised metal household products founded by the late Mr Yong Kwong Fae, has developed into a one-stop specialist for housing industry metal products, aluminium frames for container refrigeration units and wide range of fabricated aluminium and steel products.

Nam Lee has designed, manufactured, supplied fabricated metal products and provided metal solutions for diverse industries over the years. It kicked off its foray into expanding its manufacturing operations overseas in 1991. It was listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) main board since October 1999.

The Company is a Building Construction Authority (BCA) registered contractor with unlimited tendering limits under the construction related (CR) and Supply (SY) workleads.
