Nextkidney, a Dutch medtech company, is developing a portable hemodialysis device, the Neokidney, based on sorbent technology. It uses a low fluid volume of 5 liters per dialysis session. The Neokidney is designed with patients in mind, offering them a better quality of life. Nextkidney has subsidiaries in Switzerland and Singapore.
