The Centre of Innovation (Marine & Offshore Technology) is a joint initiative by SPRING Singapore and Ngee Ann Polytechnic established since 2006. COIMOT seeks to encourage local enterprises, SMEs in particular, to grow their businesses by adopting technology to create high value products and compete effectively in the global marketplace.

A strong thrust is given in increasing productivity through collaboration, innovation, research and development.
